I have not had a chance to load the e-tip yet. I don't believe they were available when I was creating the load for my .280. Do they offer a 6.5? As Noslers are inherintly accurate, If my 6.5 x.284 doesn't like the Barnes I have on the way (ordered Saturday) I may try them. I was not impressed with the swift Scirroco II on Whitetail deer in my 6.5. That was where my research went this summer. Had one heck of a load. Performance was marginal at best on deer. I hope it was a fluke. However it was enough of a fluke for me to look elsewhere. My AR and .280 have both had great results with the Barnes. I want to get one with my 6.5 thus I went with what has proven success for me. It wasn't till the TSX and TTSX that I could get Barnes to be consistent without spending a fortune. I think it was a smart move for them. They do expand fully and do penetrate as well as exit. I only had one freak experience with the TSX. Deer was 10 yds (I was scouting) Not one exit hole but three. Deer was hit with a bout 2433 foot pounds at ten yds. It was pretty amazing the damage. It only went about 40 yds. When I cleaned the deer I could not figure out how it ran that far. The inside of the deer was DESTROYED. Luckily I aimed behind the shoulder and lost no meat. I don't believe I'd try that in the shoulder. It could get messy. Ken
