Holy cow! We had one out here in Colorado that came off a mountain, crossed a valley, then covered I70, some really good footage of people in their cars getting smothered

I climbed several mountains and spent a month climbing Denali. I would see & hear avalanches almost everyday. There are so many ridges & peaks because it is a giant mountain, so big that it makes it's own weather. It is unbelievable to witness the power of an avalanche!
