My son Brandon shot this early this AM getting zeros for this .30x338 Lapua using 165 gr. Nosler BTs moving out at a little over 3600 fps. First round by DC was slightly high but a minor correction printed the other 3 just right! This was shot from 900 yds. Will finish zeroing this afternoon late!

    GREAT HUNTING/SHOOTING TO ALL!!

Is that a octagon barrel? Looks really nice. Could you also post a picture of the muzzle brake?

Hehe!! Yeah..."old farts" are sometimes hard to convince bout new stuff! But...I are sometimes quite "progressive" when it comes to certain things so who knows???.....I may try one and see what happens! If I don't like it...Brandon can add it to one of his rifles! I'm planning on making one of these rifles up but in .338 RUM...pardon the pun...JUST FOR KICKS!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Glad you have a good sence of humor!
You might want to do a search on .30 wolf
its a .30-338Lapua and they were liking 178 A-Max and 210 JLK not exactly the same but might be of interest to you and brandon.
Again nice looking rifle and great shooting.

If one doesn't have a good sense of humor these days....we'd stay mad all the time!

Brandon is a GOOD SHOOTER! Had a GOOD COACH! Wonder who? "Uncle" taught me how to do this stuff a long time ago and I'm just passing it on!! I have 3 grandsons that are also liking the smell of burnt powder!!

I'll take a look at the Wolf soon!

    Thanks for the reply!!
