Green 788 is correct about one thing. Your gun has to be capable of a certain level of accuracy before many of the BR techniques will show a difference. YOu can blind bag all day long but if your gun is not capable of shooting to a higher level then all your work is wasted. It is easy to get many factory guns to 1 MOA or even .5 MOA but impossible to get them to .2 no matter how good the reload is. Does than mean that those techiques are unreliable and not worth the effort? Yes in that gun but maybe not in others. Reloads with only .001 runout will not shoot any better than .005 in most factory guns when shot from a magazine anyway. Why is all of that? Could be the chamber has rough spot in the throat. Could be the chamber is .020 out of align with the bore. could be the front of the receiver is .030 misaligned with the barrel and bolt face. could be only 10% contact on bolt lugs. Could be your trigger is dragging on inside the stock. could be the firing pin spring is weak or dragging inside the bolt. Could be the crown has two nicks, burrs and uneven. Could be the bore looks like it is cratered. With factory chambers and barrels (not custom shop guns)there is a point of diminishing returns and if I can get .5MOA I feel that I have normally reached it. BH
