[QUOTE="Muddyboots, post: 2827396, member: 63925"] I am thinking once you hit 50, start counting backwards instead. I joined a fitness center in Jan this year to address the decimation of lower body strength from spinal stenosis and arthritis. Eye opening is understatement how far I had fallen. Seeing improvement but took 8 years to lose, so not gonna get it back for quite a while. Machine work, therapy pool for stretching then jacuzzi for 15 minutes with water jet on lower back. Surprised by the strength returning but longgg way to go. Its interesting if I have to miss a scheduled day how much that affects my mental state. You really become "addicted" to the workouts!! Fixing old mountain bike for added cardio. Adding in walking in big 800+ acre park nearby that has prob 15 miles of trails thru woods. Deer, turkey, all sorts of critters. Some 2 legged ones.
