    I would like to say thank you to the members who helped me with Elk hunting questions in reference to my son's hunt. While it was not a 'long range' hunt per se, it was great for my 11 yr old son (100 yds, 7mm-08, 139 grain Hornady, 1 shot, moved 25 yds and died)

    That is absolutely awesome! Congrats! I love the 7-08 and think it is a fantastic and very flexible option for young hunters. Great bull!
