I will preface this post by saying I have not spent much time on this thread, so bear with me. I might be heading for Houston area in Feb to do some dog training, as I run field trial. Anyway, I wondered if anyone had a lead on hog hunting in the area. I would like to take a day to hunt, shoot a pig, and be done. Any leads would be appreciated.

This guy's pretty well known and gets good reviews. Though his prices are in line with the rest of the state, they're still too rich for my blood, so I haven't personally been there.

    Nomad, thanks for the post.
$400.00 a day might be more than I am willing to spend also.

Check craigslist houston, san antonio or austin, there are lots of cheap hunts in the area, just don't expect a trophy. The big ones are nasty anyway, shoot the piglets if you want an eater.

Go and ask these fellas. There will more than likely be someone in the area willing to help you out and possibly do it for free.
