Goto, This is the great thing about reloading. You experimment untill somthing works. Be sure and only change one thing at a time. Looks like the crimp may have been the cause. I must agree with the preivous posts and I'm sure you will find that unless you are feeding a semiauto a crimp is not needed. Matter of fact my groups were cut in half when I just started to neck size half or less of the neck of the case with no crimp. This was with my 6.5 M94 Sweede. Be greatfull that you were able to find the cause of the inacuracy as quickly as you did. It has taken me a long time with alot of bullets, powder, and spent primers to find a combination that I like. I don't know of a lot of things that will increase accuracy by 3 times but it would seem for a beginer at reloading you have a great story to tell allready. Something like; "I was shooting 3" goups at best and then was able to shrink my groups to under 1" with only X number of days of experience reloading." Great job and enjoy the hobby. Looks like a good load to start with. Now you could spend 100s of bullets, primers, and powder trying to find a better one or you could spend that time and components practicing and getting good with the load you have. Good shooting, BT Sniper
