I also voted 338edge. Had originally planed on building a 338 rum. I already have a 338edge or at the time of the build 338/300 ultra mag. But, came across a very good deal on 300 rum brass (new- 500), could'nt pass up the oppurtunity and the pressure from friends- it doesn't take much when it comes to building another wildcat.:D

Build sheet:

Bartlein Barrel - 1.250x32" Fluted (Black)
Nesika Action - model G (repeater - Black)
Precision rifle & tools stock - T-5 Laminated (Improved Camo)
Bottom metal - Wyatt Detach Mag
300 SMK
Jewell Trigger - top safety
Scope - NF 8-32x56 Np R1
DE - Base & Rings
Holland Recoil Lug
Brake - Harrells
Smith - A good friend. (retired from Enfield, also work for P.O Ackley in R&D) In fact hes my neighbor and we shoot alot together when we have the chance.

Everything is there except: scope , base & rings. I expect it to be heavy:rolleyes:.
17-18lbs. maybe. All I can say is gun)gun)gun):D

Thanks
