TC encore load? 35 Whelen

Looking at the Nosler website trying decide what bullet I want to shoot out of my Encore. Noticed that you can push a Accubond 2789 using 59.0 grains of R15 powder. Would this be a safe load for an Encore? I know most test rifles are bolt actions so thats why I am asking?

Thanks for the info. Im glad I ask because my starting load would have been 56gr. I will start at 54gr and work my way up.

In the Encore platform,don't put too much stock in primer flattening as a pressure sign because of headspace issues and frame flex. I always watch for signs of sticky case extraction.Chamber roughness can have an affect on this. Yours may differ.

Hey Fellows I do not have an Encore, However I'm looking to buy a pro-hunter. Looking at one of 2 choices. Either the 35 whelen or 375 h&h. I'm in Ms also. Not trying to highjack your post, but it seemed you would be the best to ask. Thanks, Loki
