The choices in Britian seen limited, therefore what is recommended from elsewhere please. Also anyone got any bright ideas on how I can get hold of them?

• Buyer's Guide
Countless hours of development and testing have led us to create a line of tactical scopes specially engineered for rifles in several calibers. With these scopes, there is no need to guess what the proper holdover on a target is. You simply range your target and dial in the scope for that distance. We designed these scopes using an average of the most popular loads for each caliber. Each scope comes with interchangeable turrets for different calibers that can be changed with an allen wrench. These durable scopes meet our stringent quality-control standards and have superior fully coated optics, better light transmission and greater resolution. No other scope will, however, match the versatility these scopes feature. Mounting tube is 1". Finger-adjustable windage and elevation with trajectory compensation turret. Each scope is available in four power models with some models featuring a side focus parallax adjustment for ultrafast target acquisition. Each scope is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Each scope includes turrets, turret carrying bag and an allen wrench. Rimfire tactical scopes come with five turrets engineered for different calibers and popular bullet weights. These are user-friendly sighting systems that are incrementally calibrated to adjust for bullet drop out to 300 yards and beyond.
Includes: .17 HMR, .17 Mach 2, .22 Hornet 35-grain V-Max, .22 LR 40-grain, .22 Mag. 40- grain hollow point.

Thanks Pinshootr,

This product would be just the ticket except that Cabela's arn't able to supply me in the UK. What's the big issue about exporting 'scopes from the US?

[/ QUOTE ]MILDOT generally. Look at the Bushnell Elite 3200 10*40.

In the UK you have some less elite options - Gary Cooper at MTC OPTICS for example. OK they're Chinese but the QC in the UK is better than many. Falcon Optics are nor bad either.

Also see what there is out there second hand . Try one or two of better specialist airgun people "Blackpool Airrifles" or "Target Sports" - they have a turnover on scopes you wont believe.

Thanks Chris that's useful information. I've just purchased a scope from Pete Lincoln (Tasco SS10x42M) bit of an overkill on an rf but it may end up on my .308 yet. Following on from a different thread on forum, he's sound and has built me a cracking 6.5x55. It can be seen in his gallery under Andy P's 6.5x55. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
