Tac15i, legal to use in Canada?

Hello there, I'm having a difficult time determining whether it's legal to own and hunt with a Tac15i (Not the Tac 15) in Nova Scotia/Canada. Does anybody out there know for sure? TKS

No it uses a AR style receiver which are restricted in Canada. It can only be used at at approved range

I live in Ontario and own a Tac 15i . There is no problem with the Tac 15i . However the Tac 15 would be classified as restricted because of the AR 15 lower unit . The local bow shop sells the Tac15i and has one on display.

That is correct. The lower part of the Tac15i is not compatible with AR-upper equipment, and is not restricted.
