I live in Myrtle Creek. Im an hour and a half north of Medford and a hour and a half south of Eugene, im fourth generation to the area. Just as sgt. caldwell said the weather is mild, we may get a little snow in the valley a time or two each winter, but mainly we get a lot of rain. Summers aren't to bad, we get some temps in the upper 90's for a short time each summer. The further south you go the hotter it gets it seems. I can be at the beach in a hour and a half and I can be in the desert in two and a half hours. Medford and Grants Pass seem to be growing quite quickly along with Roseburg, These have always been timber communities but residential and commercial construction makes for a ton of jobs in a normal economy. Our area offers a lot of hunting, shooting, fishing, and outdoor recreation. If you would like specifics PM me.
