Alright I have a Striker coming in 223. Well I have been doing some looking on the net and am unable to find out what is the twist rate? Just want to see if it will stabalize heavier bullets? Or if I will need to buy some light weight pills.

Also for those that have a striker in a WSM caliber. Do these Strikers have the larger barrel shanks? Or do they use standard barrels in the WSM Striker line? Just wondering in case I get the itch to convert it to a WSM caliber one day.

Thank you.

Can't help with the twist rate, but my Stiker came with the small barrel shank, not sure if the all do. Pac Nor didn't have a problem chambering a 6.5 wssm on the small shank. I don't think a WSM would be a problem on the small shank as Savage built a limited number of factory rigs chambered in WSM and RUM before swithcing over to the large shank.
