Where does one learn about modifications to a stock to achieve less muzzle jump. Would like recoil to come straight back.
Have an old fajen thumbhole on a 270 and can spot hits at any distance.
With a larger recoil rifle when things are perfect I can see hits beyond 600 yds when the rifle settles back and the wind ain't blowing. If wind is blowing, dust disappears too soon.
Suggestions? Or is it just not possible with a 250gr bullet @ 2800 and faster?
