I'm looking to build a rifle on a sako L691 action. Who makes a good stock for this action(synthetic)? I know Mcmillian will but their lead time is 6 months.Any other options?

Thanks

I would at least call and ask manners they might be able to help. Lone wolf stock in MT maybe.

Bell and Carlson also make stocks for the Sako actions, I purchased one through Stocky's Stocks, it took about 1-2 months to get, but not as long as McMillan's.

Out of curiosity I checked out Stocky's, H-S Precision makes a nice synthetic for a carry type varmint/heavy sporter style rifle. That's probably your best bet right now.
