I want to covert my Stevens 200 from .223 to .308, but i have no idea what i need as far as the bolt and bolt face go. i have searched everywhere for info on it but i can't find anything. Please help!!!

You need a .473 bolthead. You can find then at many places. I bought a whole bolt from The Shooting Shack, they are in Texas. Thay sell boltheads among many other things. Are you going to do the change over yourself? If so, you will need a nut wrench, headspace gauges, barrelvise. I suggest you go over to SavageShooters.com, you can learn alot over there about the Savage/Stevens firearm. By the way where did you look for info? There may be a bunch of info on here, I'm still learning my way around here, hope this helps.

I have done this. exactly.

I ordered my bolt head from midwayusa

and bolt parts from savage so i didn't have to strip my 223 bolt head of its parts.

Go guage

barrel wrench

and Action wrench to place in a vice made things super easy.

Let me know if you need specifics. Happy to help.
