The athlon is a touch larger than the leupold, no reticle. Very clear and compact, won't find clearer for the price
Try to find an older JAPAN MADE Bushnell or Bausch and Lomb ELITE 15-45x60 from eBay or forum classifieds or maybe even a pawn shop. They can be had for around $200 or less. They probably won't have any warranty support since it's BUSHNELL brand but being made in JAPAN it will more than likely outlive you if you take care of it and don't abuse it.
