I bought this rifle from the original owner. He had it built in spring of 2010. It had approx 140 rounds through it when I picked it up. I have ran about another 50 rounds through it.
It is in excellent condition. When fired, its been mostly out in the field on a dry shooting mat. It was on two hunts with the previous owner and has a few small scuffs on the end of the bolt, a few scuffs on the stock, and a strange mark on the rail(but it gets hidden by the scope ring). Original owner sold it because he had RBros build him a 338 Edge. I am selling it to fund my 338 Lapua. I would love to keep it, but can't afford to.
It's a shooter.
It likes 180 Bergers VLD Hunting, at 2990 FPS and
150 TTSX , at 3100 FPS
I've shot consistent .25"-.35" groups at 100 using the following:
180 Berger VLD Hunting
H1000 – 69 grains
CCI 250 primers
2.233 to Ogive…approx .020" off the lands
2.940 COL
If you're not in to reloading, I have also shot boxed Cor-Bon DPX 140 gr. .625" at 100 yards.
I will include 33 rounds of loaded ammo.
12 – hand loaded 180 Bergers, the dedicated load for this rifle.
15 – Winchester 150 gr
6 – Corbon DPX 140 gr – best boxed ammo for this rifle.
Also included is about 100 rounds of once fired Win brass.
I also have all the reloading dies that I will offer separately.
