WINCHESTER Model 70 Classic Featherweight
.280 Remington (a.k.a. 7mm Express and 7mm-06)

Burris 3x9x40mm w/Ballistic Plex Reticle
Weaver mount
Leupold rings

This was my late 91-year old Dad's gun. He bought it brand new in 1995 - and only shot it at the bench a few times. I called Winchester, and the serial number shows it was made in 1995.

I'm trying to sell it all as a pkg. deal ($875 and FREE S/H).

OK

I measured it - and to where the barrel meets flush to the receiver is 21-inches.

Then of course, it is another inch or so into the receiver...

My old man shot sub-MOA with it (his loads).

He was a benchrest shooter - and applied those principles to his hunting rifles too.

What a great all around rifle for NA hunting. Gun looks 98% to me. If I did not have so may 7mm calibers I would be looking hard at this one. The 280 is a great cartridge, that Model 70 is a classic. Best of luck with the sale.........goodshot. I would buy it but I have bought 2 new rifles in the last 6 months........my better half would not be happy if you know what I mean . I will let some other folks know about it!

--- You know it!

I am amazed sometimes of the accuracy of stock rifles from Remington and Winchester (sub-MOA) right out of the box!

My Dad was getting ready for his last guided antelope hunt in Sept. 2011 - then took a turn for the worst and passed-on Sept. 22.

Here are some my pics of Wyoming MONSTER ANTELOPE:
