I have a factory takeoff .223 stainless barrel. This is a NON FLUTED barrel. It is a varmint contour, 24", 1 in 9" twist.

Couple hundred rounds fired.

Just out of curiosity how hard and how much$$$ to turn one of these down to small shank thread configuration?

I'm not sure what it would cost to have turned down, but I would think a good gunsmith or machine shop would charge $20-30.
