the steps that are needed to have a gun shipped to me. I found a pawn shop that is willing to use their FFL. But he had never done it for anybody else so we are not exactly sure how it needs to go down. Thanks in advance!
Your pawn shop faxes or sends a copy of their FFL to the seller for verification. The seller ships the gun to your pawn shop. If the seller/shipper is an FFL they put a copy of their license in the box and you can go down and pick up the gun right away, if it's an individual there is a waiting period. That's how it works around here anyway. If your pawn shop is an FFL they should make themselves familiar with all the rules though.
