Sierra 7mm 175 HPBT MK

Well, I found the answer. FYI this bullet has a secant ogive.

Now, is anybody have experience with this bullet or its 180grs brother?

Are they easy to tune like the 162Amax and the Bger 180 Hybrid or picky like the Bger 180VLD?

Thanks

SMK's are almost always Tangent ogives. That's why they are jump tolerant (and a little lower in the BC department). The Berger hybrids are tangent ogives switching quickly into a secant tip. Thus the term hybrid (and a boost in BC numbers). Just sayin'

That is correct for most of Sierra's bullet but not all. As per Sierra's web page, the 7mm 180BTHP MK has a 12 cal secant ogive. And Duane Siercks confirmed me the 175 has also a secant ogive.

That's why I'm looking for shooters who tried these bullets.
