Sierra 175 or 180 MatchKing

Anyone have experience deer hunting with Sierra 175 or 180 gr. MatchKing's out of a 300 Ultra Mag? Is their terminal performance reliably good out to 800 yards?

rimfire use's the 175 grain SMK out of his 300 WSM and from what I've from the performance out of his WSM the answer is yes..

I was hoping so. I searched and found game kills of hog and elk, but not whitetail. Thanks

I use them in my 300 SAUM with great success too. I prefer the 175 SMK over the 178 AMAX. I have taken deer out to 315 yards with the SMK, and I have always had good exit holes. I am shooting them at around 2950 fps.
