shot my buddys new 338rum today..........

just got it back from pac-nor.its built on a sako 75 action with a 26" super match tube-it is accurate -i put together some loads with the 180g nbt just to break in the barrel and it shot great.one group was 1/4 moa easy.the were 1/2 moa to 3/4 with different powder charges.what a sweet chambering.i do have one question-what are most of you 338rum shooters using for powder with the 250g bullets?tia-dave

Try IMR7828,Reloader 25,H1000 and WMR.We shoot these in a slightly longer round with great effect..(.338/300RUM)Please tell about your results with that round in future posts!

VV N 560 92.1 with a fed gold pr mag and a smk or a sbt at 3.720 i shoot it as a single shot at 3100 fps or of a hart 28.5 inch barrel it shoot un real..208 at 117 yards i have not tried the load at 800 or a 1000 yet,thanks,keith
