The short action Sendero rifles were all chambered in the RSUM cals , I know a guy that had a 300 RSUM and had it rechambered to 300WSM. I don't think they ever called any of the non magnum short action heavy barreled guns Senderos

Not to be nit picky but it was actually Varmint Synthetic Stainless Fluted. Short actions in stainless were referred to as such. Short action blued or VS were Varmint Synthetic. The Sendero was in long action only. Don't quite understand it that SA or LA had different names only because of action length but Rem must have had somebody who felt needed or important????
