I see the Sightron SIII 6-24x50 isn't getting the love it should. Awesome glass, 100 MOA of reticle adjustment, superb controls, fit, and finish, rugged as any NXS I'm willing to bet and half the price!! If you can live with 1/4 MOA knobs with a mildot this is a superior choice, IMO. I would recommend it without hesitation for a .338 or .50 Awesome customer service too. The only reason they aren't getting more votes is b/c you haven't tried one!

The scopes I would buy would be in this order, Hensoldt, premier,S&B,US optic,Zeiss. If money wasn't a problem then Hensoldt or premier would be my choice but zeiss 6.5-20x50 would work just fine, just a matter of which reticle I needed. But sure would like the Hensoldt or premier.

I vote "other". A Zeiss Conquest (although assembled in US) or another quality brand from Europe.
