Scope and base help for cz 457

So I got a new CZ 457 varmint precision trainer in today. I have a vortex viper hst not mounted on anything at the moment so I'm gonna put it on the CZ. This is the 6-24 and has 65 MOA of elevation adjustment. Area 419 makes a 30 MOA base for this rifle that would allow me to get out to 300 possibly 400 yards. Do you all think the 30 MOA base would work with 65 MOA of adjustment. I know in a perfect world it should allow me to have 5 MOA left on the bottom end but really skeptical that it will actually work out that way.
