Say it isn\'t so...! Knickle?

Just came home from the range. Loaded 9 brass cases with H1000. 3 each in 68 1/2, 69 1/2 and 70 1/2 grns. Just to see if there was any difference I did the same in the knickle cases. At 100 yrds the brass produced just under 3/4 " the knickle did much better in all groups producing 1/2" and better. By the way IMR 4350 did even better at about 100 fps faster. Is this a fluke or should I believe the findings?

Thanks.
Tom

If the findings are repeatable (atleast 5 more times), then believe them. Really doesn't matter what your rifle likes, as long as it shoots consistently well.

One good group doesn't count. Try at longer ranges to make sure powder is not stringing. Also watch as outside temp increases, IMR 4350 is temp sensitive. You may want to try H4350 as they burn very close and the Hodgdon is not temp sensitive.

Enjoy experimenting...
