savage 12 lrp 6.5 creedmoor

I'm thinking of ordering a savage 12 lrp in the 6.5 creedmoor. Can I hear pros and cons ? Thanks

Scott Rupp has a great article on the Creedmor in the new isue (January-February) issue of RIFLE SHOOTER. He tested a Ruger No. 1 in the Creedmore and fell in love with it. It will be interesting to see if other manufacturers will chamber that caliber.

I would suggest buying Savage action by itself, then pick a stock for it and custom barrel of your choice. From my experience with LRP, maybe they fixed their production line, but it wasn't worth it. Few month ago I build great shooting rifle from 111 Savage, well it still ongoing project, but it shoots 10X better then factory LRP.
