Ruger No 1 Stainless - 25-06 ?

I came across a Ruger No 1 Stainless/Laminate stock in 25-06. The gun is used in what appears to be almost unused condition. Price is 699. with some kind of scope (name I forgot).

I have read old reviews but I would appreciate comments here.

good price even without scope if it's in good shape. They are around 1K new if I'm not mistaken. I've got a 338 in #1 and it's a moa rifle with zero work to it. If you are looking for a 25-06 and don't need a mag. fed rifle go for it.

I had a #1 in 25-06 many years ago and it was great for antelope and mule deer. The H4831 worked well.
