I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much my rifle will weigh before I have it built. I have Remington 700 sa that I have a b&c a2 stock on and I will be ordering a lilja # 7 contour fluted barrel finished at 26" and a jewel trigger and it will be a 6.5x47 lapua. Without optics.

That helps me out with my barrel but I don't no what a standard short action and bolt assembly weighs.

Could be wrong, but that sounds more like what it would weigh WITH optics? I would guess more like 9 1/2 lbs.

    Stock about 3 lbs
    Receiver about 2 lbs
    Barrel 5 to 5-1/4 lbs
BDL bottom metal, mag box, trigger group about 1/2 lb
    = 10-1/2 to 10-3/4 lbs

+pic rail and rings (many options) average 4 to 6 oz
