Retraining my pointer

After 3 years of living in Mexico, and having to leave my dog in Ecuador, he was out of action, no hunting, no training, nothing. So I got home, got my gun papers in order and went hunting 2 weeks ago, total mess, the dog I knew before was gone, not hunting at all, very distracted, didnt respond to the calls, it was one of the worst hunting mornings of my life, not only because we only hunted one quail, but because my dog was a total mess. So I decided to retrain him, we have been running together and relearning basic commands, and he is doing very well. This weekend I bought some quails to hide them in the farm for him to look for. He did very well, we did three sessions of 4 quails each, and I believe he is getting the hang of it again. Hope you enjoy the pictures. If you have any tips let me know.
