Need a little advice (I'm no gunsmith). Replacing the stock on a T3 Superlite (brandy new) with a Bell & Carlson Sportster. Barrel located properly in stock (bedding lug in slot on barrel). Turns out the factory stock has a small hole behind the rear screw hole (behind trigger guard) for a small locating dowel in factory trigger guard but new stock doesn't. Appears there was a hole in new stock but filled in with a pin or ... by Bell & Carlson. Should I cut off dowel on trigger guard, or drill out hole in new stock? All tips appreciated. Doubt it matters but caliber is .300 win mag. Thanks.
