Just for reference, what's the barrel contour and OD at the muzzle where the brake shoulders? I'm thinking about building a short-barreled (18" +/-) 6x47 and I like the looks of that one.

I think it started life as an MTU but I'm not 100% certain. It's .980" at the muzzle

Great buy Buttermilk, You'll like it. Have it's almost same brother John Beanland built and it's amazing in the the 6X47L. I've harvested several Axis and have shot PD's past 500 yards. Enjoy
