Folks, I am having built a new rifle for my wife, it will be a full on custom, BAT Hr action, Proof carbon barrel, in a McMillan game warden stock, its a .308 boltface, in .260 AI and will be set up on a long action. My question is I am looking for the best bang for the buck on bottom metal, The stock is inletted for a standard BDL set up so I am looking for opinions on hinged floor plates. Thanks for your time!

I use PT&G on all of my own rifles and customers rifles. I buy them unfinished in the rough and finish them myself.
They have always fit very well and I cannot fault them in anyway.
I try to buy when on sale, so I am always looking on their site.
You can buy them blued, but it costs extra and their are aluminium versions if that's what you want. I buy the stainless and steel versions for the extra weight they provide.

Cheers.
