I have a new PSS , have fired 200 Rds, just had it bedded & trigger tuned. I have finally worked up a load that just printed a 5 shot group at a 100 yds. that measured .457 CTC. Whats your opinions on having the action trued and recrown the barrel?

Hello wayne308, Welcome aboard.
Wayne in my opinion , If it aint broke don't fix it.

Thanks! I need the voice of reason. Ya'll know how it gets!,Help me, I can't stop myself. I suspect the gun will shoot better than I can. Lets see what replies are next.

In the interest of money, I'd wait to true it until you have it at the gunsmith to be rebarreled. Then do both at the same time.

I try not to ever let reason interfere with my decisions on the things I want! I'd probably buy a second gun so I didn't feel bad about having the first one worked on in case it got a scratch!
