Hello boys,
I am preparing to begin reloading for a factory 700XCR with 225Hornady Interbonds.
Does anyone have a good starting point for the bullet jump length to the lands for best accuracy?
I also purchased Retumbo powder. Any best recipes for nice accuracy?

Your thoughts are Greatly appreciated!

Thank You!

The Remington RUM guns have so much free bore that you can never get near the lands. Just seat them to maximum magazine length and vary down from there. Try the Sierra 300 gr. SMKs instead of the Berger VLDs if you want to shoot a heavy bullet.

I had a wyatts extended mag box installed on mine, $30 for the box and the machinist charged $45 to install it. Now i can get right up to the lands easy. Well worth it in my opinion.

Thanks Guys,
I was a little afraid of that. When I measured the oal it seemed to long.
I might try the new magazine and smk's, I have heard a lot about them here but how do they hold up to hunting?
