Man I envy you! I picked up an xcrII in 300WM a few weeks ago and I'm just a few steps behind you. Put a Timney trigger set at 2lbs, Harris bipod, and have it topped with a Vortex viper pst sitting on a Larue 20 moa rail with Larue rings. Can't get the darn thing to shoot better than 2.5" at 100 nevermind at any kind of decent yardage. The stock isn't free floated at all so that obviously has to go but I'd eventually like to re-barrel it and don't want to buy a different stock to fit a new barrel contour. At present I'm flinging 208gn Amax's in front of H4831SC. I'm a diehard remmy fan and am in no way ready to give up on this setup but I can't say I haven't thought about "losing it" on a mountain hunt at one time or another. Glad to see there's still light at the end of the tunnel for my build! - AC
