[QUOTE="Broz, post: 939205, member: 7503"] I gave one a long look over at Cabela's in Billings. I like the high cheek piece and the feel of the stock. Another thing about the stock for those of you that are left handed but shoot RH rifles. This stock is the same both sides, same cheek weld, same grip with no swells, so it should work for you too. I have one of these stocks for a build I am doing and I have tested it a bit for flex and I think it will be just fine. Not a McMillan by any means, but a good solid stock with a tight aluminum rail. The barrel contour looks to be the same as the Sendero, although I have not measured yet. But the looks of the barrel reminded me exactly of the first model black oxide sender barrels. The trigger on the 700 LR I looked at was pretty clean with little felt creep, but for sure needs lightend up for my taste. It is adjustable but if needed I will swap it out for a Timney. So we bought one of these in 300 win. I will be bedding it and installing a brake along with the trigger tune/replace. Then I plan to wring it out with 215 Bergers and see what I get. I am optimistic it will shoot well enough to be a great rifle for anyone wanting to get their feet wet in the LR game without dropping big bucks to get started. These can be bought for $650ish. If you figure the take off stock worth $200, bottom metal at $75 barrel at $100, trigger at $30 this leaves a guy with a 700 REM long action, Mag bolt face for $245. How can that be a bad deal?
