Hi,
happy new year to everybody,
i have just bought a R25 remington, cal 308win,
i reload several cal but i need some advises for that gun.
i would like to shoot on 400 to 600 yards, not specially to hunt because it's forbidden with that rifle in quebec, so what kind of bullets, best BC ?, powder ?
thank's for all
Phil

Probably 168grn berger hybrids, SMKs, or Nosler custom comps, with varget, Imr4895, or Alliant ar-comp, cci #34 primers.

I have one and my cousin has one. I have been talking with an individual that has two and his father has two. They all seem to prefer 165/168 grain bullets. The person I speak of says that the HPBT gamekings shoot great over Varget in all 4 of theirs. I'm gonna try them next.

Here are some loads that I have developed that work really well for me. All with RWS brass, Federal 210M primers, from a 28" 1:12 twist Lothar Walther barrel. All three of these loads are .014" off the lands.

175 Nosler Custom Comp, 175 SMK
43.0 (2650fps)& 45.0 grains RL15(2750fps)

168 Nosler Ballistic Tip
42.8grn of Alliant AR Comp (2790fps)
