That surprises me! The problem I've had with the AB is it won't expand except at high velocity. At 400 yds you would expect it to work about as well as it's going to? I wonder if they didn't bond that one?.....Rich

What caliber was your 180 accubond.
I just bought 2 boxes of 30 cilicer this same bullet to elk hunt with

Shot a muley buck today 300WSM 208 A-max @2750 fps 350 meters, the bullet didn't make it through the chest wall. Perfect shot should have been double lung shot. The buck piled up however with out another step. It broke the shoulder away without doing any tissue damage. Pretty weird, I guess dead is dead but it's not what I'm looking for. Big SST shipment into canada in the last few days so I bought 300 I know these work.
