I went to the range last night with some 180 Noslers and SGK. The noslers shot best with 75.5 gr RL 22. My book shows that is max, I had no pressure signs and no sticky bolt. Would I be out of line if I increased the load slowly by a tenth or so? The groups shrank as the powder increased. Thanks

IMO, reloading manuals have to take a lot of variables into account that you can work around. If you are sure that you have no pressure signs, then going up would be OK as long as your conditions don't change. I would not load in the Fall for something that will be used in peak Summer as you may be way overpressure! I also would find the bullet seating depth before I decided to move up the load.

edge.
