I also have 5 boxes of the eldx and 2 boxes of the eldm.Im Waiting on my rifle build and have not shot any yet. I'm building a suppressor dedicated rig. Pierce Skele Ti action,20" proof sendero light,Hunt-Tac stock from Pendleton stocks at Oregunsmithing.I was curious how much that ridge was sticking up so I took 1 cartridge and used emery cloth on a flat surface to take the ridge down flush with the base. That ridge measures out to .002. So my concern is head space. After fired 1 or 2 times most likely this ridge will flatten, thus increasing headspace. I planned on giving my smith a few cartridges to use for setting the headspace because I'm not going with a prefit barrel. And yes these things look like they tumbled them with gravel lol. I will be hand loading and really would prefer some Adg or Lapua brass. I still have about 4 months before my rifle build is done,so I'm hoping buy then there be brass available. I will be calling Hornady also to see what they have to say.
