We will be hunting in area 17 Campbell county, Wyoming where there is a lot of private land leased to the state for hunting. My question is can you park your truck any place along the roads you plan on hunting? Or are there designated parking places?

We hunted an area like you speak of, years ago. At the gate, there was a map indicating desginated parking lots along the ranch roads. It may be the same for you.

    Best of luck,

    Joseph,

On our place (area 17) there is not a parking lot, you will have to park to the side of the road along the various entrances to the land; most places I have seen around there are the same way.

Click on the link below, click on the county you will be hunting in, column on left. It will bring up map(s) for the Walk-in-Areas for that county.
