A very nice (best guess by serial number about 1955) pre-64 Winchester Model 70. 243 Winchester
Stock was professionally bedded and LOP at 13" -12 7/8", swivel studs moved and plugged to match
for this LOP. I'd grade this rifle at 95-98. Blueing is excellent and stock overall excellent. I can find only
one small safe handling mark around the bolt handle area. Rifle looks it really hasn't been fired much.
Bore is clean and shiny and groves look well defined, from my bore scope app/tool.
I've attached photos to show the best I can.
I'm selling for a friend, he is asking 1395$ But will entertain serious offers.
Questions please ask.

wow, that's a beauty!... especially for a 65 year old rifle... and a very good price!

I think 1955 is the first year the .243 Win was offered commercially. The brain child of Warren Page. If that's the first year of the cartridge, your friend might have something really special on his hands.

BTT, Mothers Day special, Sunday Only, 100$ off listed price!! Mom needs a new gun!!
