Popped My Cherry

The picture I saw that you were using a workbench as a benchrest. Does it hold the rifle well? There is no adjustable legs to balance it. The workbench can do many things like a secretary.

The workbench setup belongs to my hunting partner. That was the first time I had used such a setup and it did seem to work OK.

We were shooting from a gravel road so it was possible to kind of dig the feet in so all of them were steady.

Personally I think a 3 legged table would work better in all situations. However, like a lot of things, we tend to use what we have at the time.

FWIW We didn't manage to make any hits from this position. The kills were made further up the hill, where we had to walk in a bit and shoot off bipods.
