Hey Im new to the computer thing so cut me some slack. I have a old 300 weatherby mark 5 shot 700 rds last year out to 700 yrds with fair results. To shoot. Im looking at putting a kreiger palma barrel chambered in 338 RUM.We are using a Shepard scope now. My goal is to be conmfident out to 1000 yds. Any imput on scopes, barrels and loads to get me there would be great!!!

I notice you are from NW montana. We just got back from a three week hunting trip in the Fisher area.Got some dandy bulls. been hunting ther since early 80s

Hi PMS, I know the fisher area very well. I live in Plains but used to live in Libby and work at Libby Sports Center if you are familiar with that area.
Glad to hear you did well on your hunt. Now you have to post pic's. LOL
