    I was going to a local lake to take pics of snow geese on the spring migration and foud this owl in the parking lot. He was injured dont know what from he could move around just couldnt fly. Called the DOW and they came and got him.

    Great pics. I just ordered a Nikkor 70-300 lens for my D200 and I can't wait. I found a bald eagle last fall that couldn't get airborne so I called my game warden buddy. He told me it is not uncommon for raptors to eat like a pig and get so stuffed they can't fly until the meal is digested.
