Winchester is closing their plant in the New Haven that makes their rifles - including the M-70, 94 and 1300's. Just got a press release from them.

WHUT are some rifles that I know about and have yet to even see. I will be shooting some next week, hunting with some later. Will let you guys in on this stuff as I can - but right now they did not tell me much or I can't. More after the SHOT show. I just got invited to shoot the new .416 monster again, this time they offered some incentives that might be too hard to pass up :

Thanks Ian, figured you were constrained by non-disclosure or similar. Looking forward to your reports. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
